Here at Guardian, we have over 90 licensed pharmacists to serve the needs of the community. All Guardian pharmacists are fully registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia and provide ethical dispensing of prescriptions. Our pharmacists are committed to improve medication usage through professional consultation and giving advice on over the counter medications and health supplements.

Angie joined Guardian Pharmacy in 1998 as a pupil pharmacist after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde. Angie has been appointed as a Store Manager cum Pharmacist ever since she has obtained her license as a registered pharmacist. She has served in various Guardian stores for the last 17 years. Current store under her care is the Suria KLCC branch. Being a community pharmacist, she is dedicated to provide customers with health monitoring services and advice, ensuring that prescriptions are dispensed safely and appropriate recommendations of over the counter. Further to that, Angie also takes on additional responsibilities of running the business such as overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy along with the assistance of her capable colleagues. She is passionate about her job and is committed to serve the community the best she can.
Ashley joined Guardian Pharmacy in 2016 as a pupil pharmacist after graduating with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) degree from the International Medical University (IMU). She was then transferred to Guardian Sunway Velocity to serve as a Fully Registered Pharmacist. She has been fortunate to do her research topic at UK, Glasgow. Her research topic was all about anticancer treatment. She was a beauty consultant for 2 years in a famous skincare company before she joined Guardian Pharmacy. Being a community pharmacist, she is dedicated to provide customers with personalized service such as weight management programme, skincare advices, smoking cessation and etc. She also ensures that prescriptions are dispensed safely and appropriate recommendations of over the counter. She is a friendly and approachable pharmacist, where customers can ask her any questions and she will try her best to help out. She is committed to serve the community the best she can.
Caryn, a registered pharmacist, graduated In 2011 from University of Strathclyde. She joined Guardian since 2013. Before joining Guardian, she was practising as a licensed pharmacist in a community pharmacy in London. There, she was accredited for Medicine Use Review, Minor Ailments, Smoking Cessation as well as Emergency Hormonal Contraception. Now in Guardian, she continues to serve the community by delivering personalised service such as healthy weight management, smoking cessation and also by counselling patients with lifestyle and disease management.
Gin Kuan, MMPS, is a registered pharmacist in both the UK and Malaysia. She received her Pharmacy Degree from University of Nottingham in 2011. She then completed her pre-registration training in the UK and has MUR (medication usage review) accreditation. In 2013, she accepted the position of retail pharmacist at Guardian KL Sentral and has been serving the community since then.
Charlie, a registered pharmacist and a member of MPS, graduated in 2007 with Bachelor Science of Pharmacy from University Science of Malaysia, Penang. Charlie joined Guardian in April 2014 as a licensed community pharmacist. Before joining Guardian she had experience providing pharmacy services in public primary healthcare setting for 4 years and 2 years in independent pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions and interacting with physicians and patients regarding medication dosage, drug interaction, disease management and potential side effects of prescription.
Poh Leen has been fortunate to have worked in a hospital setting prior to retail which helped her develop an aptitude for patient care and counselling. Ophthalmology pharmacy has definitely been an eye opener which helped with specialization in the knowledge of this field. Warfarin clinics were set up to reduce burden of patients whereby the pharmacists will meet the patients and prescribed Warfarin dose to the patients by observing any drug interactions and adverse effects that could arise. All these experiences have taught her not just to be a good healthcare provider but to also be a good listener. She strives to be a friendly and approachable pharmacist; whereby customers can throw her any questions and she will try her best to answer them.
Ai Mei, a registered pharmacist graduated in 1998 with an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Strathclyde. She joined Guardian Health & Beauty Sdn Bhd as a pupil pharmacist upon graduation and has been practising in the community pharmacy since then.
David, a registered pharmacist both in Malaysia and Australia, graduated in 2007 with Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Queensland, Australia. David joined Guardian Pharmacy in July 2012 as a licensed community pharmacist. Prior to joining Guardian, he had two years of experience as a community pharmacist in Australia in which he dispensed prescriptions as well as interacting with physicians and working closely with a number of other healthcare professionals in a medical centre. He then became an aged-care pharmacist for two years where he specialized in providing medications to numerous nursing homes and aged-care settings. During that period, he worked closely with doctors and nurses as well as specializing in palliative care. Currently, David is dedicated to provide professional & personalized pharmaceutical services to the community.
Dave, a registered pharmacist, graduated in 2015 from Asia Metropolitan University in collabartion with La Trobe University, Australia. Upon graduation, he joined Guardian Pharmacy as a pupil pharmacist and completed his one year training in Guardian Pharmacy Mid Valley. Currently, he is attached to Guardian Pharmacy KLCC as a Fully Registered Pharmacist. As an experienced pharmacist in Guardian, Jagdave is very well equipped with workflow and operation on retail floor. He has strong counselling skills and possess good customer service skills which he upholds as his core values
Jason joined Guardian Pharmacy in 2015 as a provisional-registered pharmacist in Guardian Seremban after graduating with Bachelor of Pharmacy from Management & Science University. After completion of his PRP, he was situated at Guardian KLCC. Jason is dedicated to serve the community on healthcare service with passion, and strive to deliver the best in him to the community.
Katherine, a registered pharmacist graduated in 2007 with an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy from National University Malaysia (UKM). Katherine joined Guardian Health & Beauty Sdn Bhd in 2013 as a licensed retail pharmacist. Before this, Katherine had been working in a public primary healthcare for 6 years. She had years of experience in running Medication Therapy Adherence Clinic (MTAC) Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Khaw, a registered pharmacist who graduated from International Medical University in 2010, has joined the company since 2012. Prior to joining Guardian Pharmacy, he had 2 years working experience in the government hospital. He specialised in the Out-Patient Department, where he screened through prescriptions, dispensed and counselled on medications accordingly. He is a Certified Smoking Cessation Service Provider and was in charge of the Smoking Cessation clinic, where he managed patients who were enrolled in the program. He also conducted trainings for other healthcare personnel in regards to smoking cessation. As a retail pharmacist, he continues to provide professional advice and services to the community.
Sher Leen, a registered pharmacist in the United Kingdom and Malaysia, graduated in 2011 from University of Nottingham with an Honours Degree in Masters of Pharmacy. After graduating, she completed her pre-registration training in the United Kingdom. She joined Guardian Health & Beauty in 2013 as a licensed community pharmacist. She has vast experience in providing good health care service to the community. She always ensures all patients have good understanding about their medication and get the best service and advice from her.
Yoke Chong, a registered pharmacist, graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) degree from USM. She has been with Guardian Pharmacy for the last 25 years, providing dispensing services and healthcare advice to patients/customers. She is currently the Store Manager cum Pharmacist at BVIL.
Lim Siew Lan, MMPS, a registered pharmacist, graduated in 2012 with an Honour Degree of Master of Pharmacy (MPHARM) from UK School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. Siew Lan joined Guardian Pharmacy in March 2017 as a licensed community pharmacist. She had 2 years of experience in the UK community pharmacy practising as a preregistration student, then 3 years experience as a retail pharmacist in independent retail pharmacy in Malaysia. She had actively volunteered to participate in providing pharmacy services in old folks home etc. Lim has provided pharmacy services in public primary healthcare settings by dispensing prescription and worked alongside other healthcare profession for medication usage, counselling for OTC medication and other minor ailments. Ms Lim is passionate and dedicated to serve the public community by providing ethical safe pharmacy services.
Wei Qi graduated in year 2006 with an Honours in Master of Pharmacy from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. She joined Guardian Pharmacy in year 2010 as a locum pharmacist when she was still serving her compulsory service with the government. Upon completion of her 5.5 years service as a fully registered pharmacist in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, she then re-joined Guardian in April 2012 as a full time retail pharmacist. Wei Qi now has more than 4 years of experience in retail setting and is dedicated to serve the community by delivering trusted health advices and support besides dispensing.
Mathiarasi, a registered pharmacist, graduated in 1992 with an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Pharmacy from USM. Joined EV care Pharmacy in 1994 as a licensed community pharmacist and has continued serving as a community pharmacist till now.
Moh Heng Sheu, a registered UK and Malaysia pharmacist. Graduated from Cardiff University in 2015. Practicing as a Pre-Registration Pharmacist for one year in a community pharmacy in UK. HengSheu has experience working with family doctors and other healthcare professional to provide full and satisfactory services to the public. She is very passionate in educating the public about over-the-counter products and managing medication.
Nazatul, who graduated from Aston University, United Kingdom in 2013, commenced her career as a Retail Pharmacist at Guardian in March 2017. Prior to joining Guardian, she had three years of extensive experience of pharmacy practice at both hospital and community settings. She has always been passionate at delivering quality pharmaceutical services and educating the public on health awareness.
A registered pharmacist graduated in 2015 from Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences with an Honour in Bachelor of Pharmacy. Following her graduation, she joined Guardian Pharmacy as Provisionnally Registered Pharmacist in KLIA and continued as Fully Registered Pharmacist. Not just a friendly pharmacist, she also commits all her hard work to serve the best to the community with regards to health education. Her interest field of area includes management of skin health and cosmetics.
